'Princess...' he said softly, as he knew that it was her that gave him this sensational power. It helped him harness the power within him so he can have more control with it. He felt somewhat stupid for not being able to catch a glimpse of his princess when she had given him this rose and the note. Her handwriting seemed to flow as he read it again, his heart yearning to be with her. "A rose is a rose, Beautiful and bold, Most importantly, it only blooms for you and me." ______________________________________________________________ Sitting at her seat, she waited for the bell to ring. Today was but her first day of school, and she was prepared for the worst. Between the voices in her head, her dreams, and her family problems, the whole school thing didn't seem to be much of a problem. She wore a school fuku that to her, which seemed more like a sailor suit than anything else. But hey, she couldn't lecture the school about their bad fashion, can she? Around her neck was a chain with a crescent moon on it. She smiled, hoping that school would begin soon so it can end sooner, an analogy that she had picked up from her little brother. Seeing that there was plenty of time to spare, she didn't think sleep would be any harm too waiting... Placing her head down, she slowly drifted to sleep only to be awoken again by screams from the females that were in the room. She looked up only to see three men walk into the room. "Bah humbug, whoever they are, they are sure annoying. Ruining my sleep like that..." she mumbled, as she looked at them. Something so familiar was about them. 'You say that about everyone though!' she told herself, shrugging it off. Those guys found a seat around her though, to her luck, 'yeah right.' She told herself, as one of them smiled to her. "Ohayo, I'm Kou Seiya. May I ask for your name?" "Tsukino Usagi." She mumbled, as she tried to bury her head in her arms, wanting to sleep some more. The three looked at each other in surprise. There was no 'Ohh Kami you're the THREE LIGHTS!' thing going... they were so use to that, that when they heard no reaction they felt a little... neglected. "Tsukino-san," the silver haired guy spoke up as her head then lifted once more, "You mean you never heard of us? We're the Three Lights." She looked at him, squinting, and then shook her head. "Is that a pop group? You guys sing right?" They nodded, as she laughed softly, "Maybe that's why. I listen to instrumental... like Kaioh Michiru. She's fantastic." "Really? We are going to do a concert with her. Here, have some free tickets." From his coat pocket, Seiya took out two-concert ticket. "Thanks a bunch!" she exclaimed, as she let them see a beautiful smile of hers. "If you don't mind me, I would like to sleep some more." With that her head went down as she began to sleep some more. "Well, she was nice." Yaten said, as the others agreed only to turn around to see another group of girls. "Don't _we_ get some tickets also?" They looked at each other uneasily. (*Starry eyed* Yaten is very cool.) ______________________________________________________________ Sitting under the tree, she listen to the whispers of people go around her. "Look at her, she looks like an Amazon," she could hear as someone pointed at her. She couldn't help but fight back a sob. She really wished Ken was here, but he went to a private school. She sighed, taking out her lunch, she really did go over board on her cooking this morning. She was hoping that she might meet a friend that can help her finish this. But she knew most of the food would go to waste. She couldn't help but want to cry because of that. She then felt someone next to her, looking at the lunch bag that she had just brought out and then at her. "Wow, that looks wonderful... I love you earrings, they are very cool." She looked up into warm blue eyes. "Ohh! I'm so sorry, but my name is Tsukino Usagi. You can just call me Usagi, or Usa, what ever goes. I do believe that I am in your English class? I don't know - I'm new to this school." "Really, Usagi-chan? So am I. My name is Kino Makoto." "Mako-chan. Very cool." ______________________________________________________________ "Five, zero service!" The blond called out as she gracefully served the volleyball. The other team watched the ball preparing to hit it. This time they weren't going to let it out of their eyeshot. The ball then landed in front of the team captain who just blinked. "Uhh... whoops?" Her teammates rolled their eyes as the blond let out a V sign with her hand. "V as in VICTORY!" A girl aside her rolled her eyes, "I swear Aino-san, you are acting so much like Sailor V. Don't tell me you idolize her." Minako placed her hands on her hips. "What's wrong with that? She is so cool! I mean, she fights crime and is very pretty... like me of course." "You have no shame Aino-san." "Your point is?" ______________________________________________________________ "Chiba-san! Get your butt over here!!" A loud booming voice exclaimed to the dark haired man. He trudged over there, to a grinning blond. "Haruka-san, I swear, you are very... how do you say it, I know, annoying." She just smiled in response. "I thought you would like these," she handed him four tickets to the Lights show that was happening tomorrow. "For you, Motiko-san and his girlfriend." "What's the extra one for?" Mamoru asked, as the blond let out a smirk. "For your girlfriend, of course!" He groaned. "I'm telling you, Hino-san is _not_ my girlfriend." She laughed at him, "I believe you, especially the way I see her look at you. Hearts in her eyes, soothing voice, I swear, that girl is gone on you." "Well, so what if I am good looking and fine..." "...And totally egotistic." "It's just one of my many good points." ______________________________________________________________ Rei sat down on the bench, it was lunch right now, and a buffet of food was placed in front of her. 'I didn't know I was that popular,' she thought cockily, as a girl sat a side of her, her blue eyes blazing. "Hino-san?" She said shyly as the violet-eyed girl looked up at her, smiling at her. "Yes?" A cup cake was handed to her, decorated nicely with sugar stars. "This is for you... I really admire you. Last year you helped me a lot on my first day of school. And..." "Arigatou," she said, as the girl grinned at her and walked away. Rei sighed, no one ever stuck around long enough to befriend her, as she picked up the pastry treat and began to eat it, her eyes far off. 'Although so many people seem to look up to me, no one really wants to become my friend... I get so lonely...' ______________________________________________________________ Makoto and Usagi walked together, passing through the shops. It was so amazing; they seemed to be like kindred spirits. They had similar interested, lived into the same apartment building, their parents had died, although Usagi still had her little brother to watch after. "Look, it's an arcade." Makoto pointed towards the building that had the words 'Crown Arcade' on it, as Usagi grinned. "Let's go in." The two entered, as it was crowded, with people talking to each other and the game. "Let's try it out. I see a Sailor V game open right there." Makoto said, yanking Usagi along with her. To their luck, there were two game machines free, side-by-side, as they both began to play. ______________________________________________________________ Artemis stretched, as he wondered when Minako was going to come here soon. He looked around the base that they had built together. 'No one would ever know...' he thought, as he began to look at the status of the video games. His eyes glared at the stats of two screens, the points were high... a little too high. Who could be controlling the games like this? He began to scramble up from his seat and out the exit of the Central Command. ______________________________________________________________ A crowed had formed around the two as Usagi yawned. "This is getting boring Mako-chan, let's go get a shake instead." Makoto nodded as they both stood up, from their seats, their little Sailor V characters then getting shot by the ugly youma that stood adjacent from the characters. A gift came from the machine for their high score. Two pens came out, one with the sign of Jupiter as the other one was pink, with a little crystal top on it. "How kawaii." Usagi said, as the two took a seat at the counter, her eyes staring at the pen. 'It's so familiar...' "Wow, the machine gave you that? You two are lucky, the machine usually doesn't give nice things like that." They looked up into two light blue eyes. Makoto fell in love, Usagi just frowned. "Don't you lose a lot of profits for gifts that are over priced?" He shrugged, "I don't even know who stalks it up, but my father never said anything about the profits going down. Hey if the prize is good, the customers will try more harder and will spend more money trying to get it." She nodded, "Can we have two shakes? Chocolate and... Mako, what do you want?" She asked her friend. Her friend snapped out of daze like trance. "Umm what? Ohh shakes, can I have a strawberry shake?" He nodded, as Usagi shook her head at her. "Mako, Mako, Mako, in love already? Anyhow, I was going to ask you if you would want to go to the Light's concert with me. I had them in most of my classes, and they gave me a ticket..." "Light's *tickets*?!! Of course I want to go!!!" She exclaimed. ______________________________________________________________ Hi minna-san, yeah, I know, it's about *time* I got the next chapter of this story out.
