Hey everyone, well whoever still bothers reading our story...I'm truly sorry
that this didn't come out sooner than it should have.  Gosh, that's me for
trying to stick by a deadline.  But hey, school's almost over, giving me more
time to work on it...Yay!  But hey, I would really appreciate more e-mail

Chapter 4


	"Who are you Sailor Moon?"  Sailor Mars' question had rung in her ears.

	"I was about to ask you the same question Mars," replied Sailor Moon.
 
	"Well excuse me..." Raye retorted, but was interrupted by Sailor Venus, 
who knew an oncoming argument would occur.  

	"Sorry for the rudeness," Venus interrupted apologetically, "but we 
would really like to know who you are and why you're helping us now."  Before 
Sailor Moon could reply, Sailor Pluto intervened.  

	"Now is not the time nor place to answer your questions, but.."
she paused and gave them a look not to challenge her, "they will be answered,
that I promise you."

	"Sailor Moon, I think it's time we go, people are staring at us,"
whispered Haruka.  Serena looked all around and noticed that the curious
bystanders began to form crowds around them.  

	"Alright," Serena said reluctantly, for she was just as curious as to
 who Sailor Mars and her friends were, especially Tuxedo Mask.  Serena turned 
around and began to walk away with Michiru and Haruka following from behind.  
Pluto lingered behind and waited till the others were out of sight before she 
turned around to face the inner scouts.

	"I must tell you that you will soon be faced with a terrible and
powerful enemy.  More powerful than anything you have ever fought before.
She turned to Venus, " Princess Venus, leader of the inner scouts, it is your
duty to guide the scouts through these difficult times, and protect the
prince and princess at all costs."  Venus and the others took in the news
with wide eyes.  

	"Wait, how did you know I was a princess and leader of the
scouts?" stammered Mina with shock.  

	"And what do you know about the prince and princess?" added Amy.  Pluto 
smiled gently and with that, she summoned her staff and opened a portal to the 
gate of time.  Before entering, Pluto turned around and bowed, as she looked up 
to see the surprised expressions on the scout's and tuxedo mask's face, she 
replied, "Good-bye my Prince."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

	Sailor Moon, Uranus, and Neptune discreetly walked into a dark alley and 
out came Serena, Haruka, and Michiru.  "Do you think we should have told the
inner scouts who we were?" asked Serena.  

	"I don't think so," replied Haruka, "otherwise Setsuna wouldn't have 
interrupted like that."  

	"That's true, but I wouldn't mind knowing who the scouts were, especially 
that cutie Tuxedo Mask," added Michiru with a twinkle in her eyes.  Serena burst out 
laughing as she saw the expression of Haruka's face.  Haruka scowled at Serena and
simply sulked.  "Awww, Ruka, you know I was just playing around," Michiru stated with 
a smile.  Serena glanced down at her watch and noticed how late it was.  

	"Wow, I think it's time I head back home, I'm sure Darien is going ballistic 
over where I've been," said Serena.  

	"Okay Rena, we'll meet you at the cafe tomorrow as planned right?" asked 
Haruka.  

	"Yup, I'll be there. Bye you guys, and good work today," smiled Serena as 
she turned and left. 	"Hmm...what an interesting day this has been.  First, that 
guy Devvon, then the cat with the crescent moon, next breaking up with Matt, and
now the scouts," muttered Serena as she wrapped her jacket closer to her body
to escape the chill in the cool air.  

	"On top of it all, I have to find the crystal, my prince and my court.  God, 
where could he be when I need him so much," she thought sadly to herself.  "Why 
couldn't Mother have them reincarnated with me, so that we could be together." Serena leaned on to brick wall for support as she felt herself collapse from the 
depression and loneliness that had submerged from the deepest corners of her mind.

	"Hey there, are you alright princess?" came a deep voice as strong
arms wrapped around her body and lifted her back up onto her feet.  Serena
swiftly turned around and found herself face to face with Devvon.

"Um.. yea I think I'm okay," Serena replied shakily.  She spoke too
soon as she felt her legs give way.  

	"Woah, I don't think so," Devvon replied with a smile.  Serena looked up 
at Devvon and noticed his deep blue eyes penetrating into hers.  She blushed and 
looked away quickly as she scrambled out of his arm.  

	"Thank you very much, but I think that I can manage." Serena briskly walked 
away, but was suddenly grabbed by the elbow.  

	"Hold on there, can I at least help you home...Serena?" Devvon asked 
worriedly.  

	"Wow, this guy not only looks like Darien, but he acts almost like him," 
Serena thought amazed.  "I guess so," Serena said with uncertainty.  "Then shall
we?" asked Devvon as he held out his arm.  Serena took it with a smile as
they headed down the street.

	"So tell me about yourself Serena, howoldareyouwheredoyoulivedoyouhavea
boyfriend?" Devvon said in one breath.  

	"I'm surprised you even remember my name," Serena said with a smirk.  

	"Well I never forget a face as pretty as yours," he replied with a smile.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

	"Well, I share an apartment with my best friend." Serena answered,
after taking a bite from her sundae.  Devvon had offered to take her out for
some ice cream and get to know one another better, and knowing Serena, she
could never refuse such an offer.

	"What about your parents?" asked Devvon as he sipped his coffee.

	"Well, I lived with them until they decided to move to the states because of
my dad's job.  I wanted and needed to stay here in Tokyo, so after a lot of begging, 
they allowed me to rent an apartment with my best friend."

	"Eh? And who is this best friend of yours, is she cute?" asked Devvon
deviously.  Serena began to giggle as she pictured Devvon imagining Darien to
be cute.  

	"If you like tall, dark, mysterious, blue-eyed guys, then he's definitely 
your type," replied Serena rolling with laughter as she saw Devvon's handsome face 
turn into a disgusted expression.  "In fact, you remind me so much of him." Serena 
stated through a mouthful of sundae. 

	"How so?" Devvon asked curiously.  

	"Well, you two could pass off as twins, and you both like to make fun of me." 

	"Well, I just might want to meet this so-called best friend of yours one 
day." Devvon replied.

	"Yo Devvon, wassup man?" yelled a tall, muscular white haired man from 
across the cafe.  Two equally tall blonde hair men and another followed him 
with brown hair.  

"Hey Mac... what's up you guys," he said as he referred to the three other men. 

	"Not much, we got bored so we decided to have some fun tonight.  What about 
you?" he said as he eyed Serena.  'Why does she look so familiar to me?' he thought 
to himself quietly.  But his thoughts were not unheard to his companions.  

	"I know what you mean Mac, I feel connected to this girl in some way too," 
replied one of the blond haired men.  

	"Yea, it's like she's somewhat connected to our past..."added the brown 
haired man.

	"Oh this is my new friend Serena.  Serena, this is Mac, Nate, Jed,
and Zack," he said as he introduced her to them.  "These are my friends from
the diaper days," Devvon stated with a laugh, but was cut shortly when Jed
punched him in the arm.  

	"OW," whined Devvon, as Serena sat there laughing at him.  

"Ohh.. aahaahaaa, I'm really sorry Dev, I didn't mean to laugh," as she tried 
to apologize after the murderous look she received from him.  "And it was really 
nice to meet you guys," she said as she smiled sweetly to each of them.  "Um, I'll 
be back in a sec, I need to go to the ladies room," she said as she excused herself 
from the five men.  Serena rushed to the bathroom and locked it shut.  As she leaned 
against the wall, she let out a sigh of relief.  

	"Why do those men out there seem so familiar to me? Could they be from my 
past too?" she thought as she splashed cool water onto her face.  Feeling much 
better, she walked out of the bathroom to rejoin Devvon and the others just as she 
walked into someone.

	"Ooof, I'm terribly sorry...."she began to apologize as she looked up
at her victim's face to see Matt standing before her.  "Ohhh....Matt, I'm
really sorry, now if you'll excuse me I have to get back to my friend.." she
muttered as she tried to escape Matt's stony glare.  

	"I don't think so Sere, we still need to talk," he replied with a touch of 
anger in his voice.

	"Really Matt, it's over, I told you things are too complicated in my life to
be dealing with a relationship right now."  

	"Yea, and that's why you're over there flaunting yourself over that guy," he 
said angrily as he looked at Devvon.  

	"He's just someone I met Matt, he just helped my from falling to my 
death, sheesh there's no need to get jealous..."she stopped.  'Uh oh,' she thought fearfully, as she remembered the line 'If looks could kill.'  

	"Look, I really am sorry about everything, but I do have to get back now.." 
Serena stated as she tried to walk past Matt, only to be grabbed harshly by him.

	"Now you listen to me Princess, if I can't have you then no one can,
do you understand me?" he whispered as he sent cold shivers down Serena's
spine.

	"Um excuse me, but I don't think the lady is comfortable the way your
grabbing her wrist," interrupted a strong, familiar voice.  Matt turned
around to find himself looking into Devvon's steely blue gaze.  

	"I don't think this is any of your business, pretty boy," said Matt coldly.

*LOL, Devvon's a pretty boy... hahahaha... oops, I'm sorry Usa-chan.. no
no...that's not what you use a knife for.. uh oh.. =o(*

*Har har har... I just so happen to LIKE Devvon!  Ohh!!  What knife???  ::evil 
smile appears on Usa's face::

	"When Serena's concerned, everything is my business," Devvon replied back
coolly.   "Now why don't you take your hands off of her before I break it," he
said fiercely.

	Instantly, he dropped Serena's wrist, which she then began to try and rub
away the aching pain Matt had inflicted.  Devvon immediately wrapped an arm
around her shoulder and led her away from a speechless Matt and back to the
table.

	"Wow, not only is he handsome, but strong." Serena sighed dreamily.
"What a perfect combination.  He's almost like Tuxedo Mask.  Wait...maybe he
is..."

	"Serena.......Serena........Serena are you alright?" Devvon asked
worriedly?

	"Huh what?" Serena asked dejectedly as her trains of thoughts were
broken.  

	"Puhahah," laughed Jed, seeing Serena's face reminded him of a deer
frozen in front of car headlights.  

	"What's so funny?" she demanded furiously.  

"Ahhh... haha ...it's ... just.. that your.. face," he replied gasping for breath. 
 Instinctively, she reached out and smacked him hard in the back.  Nate, Mac, Zack, 
and Devvon gasped in horror to see a small innocent girl violently smack Jed.  
	"Thanks...ugh," he said catching his breath.  "How did you know how to do 
that?" asked Jed curiously.  

"Do what.. did we just miss something here?" asked Devvon.  "I was choking 
and Serena here just saved my life.  I don't know whether it was because you 
actually wanted to kick my butt or because I was choking, but thanks anyways."  

	"Well obviously, if I had wanted you to die, I would have just let you 
choked to death, ne?" she replied with a smug laugh.  

	"Ohhhh...you...,"Jed replied angrily, but as he watched her laugh 
angelically, something about her drew him towards her and told her to protect her.  
Jed joined in on her laughing and the two began conversing on their own, with the 
others just dejectedly were shaking their heads.

	"I don't know why, but I think we know her from somewhere you guys," Zack 
thought telepathically.  

	"I know, don't worry we'll figure it out you guys," replied Mac.  

	"Why don't we invite her over tomorrow to the mansion and we can get to know 
her better.  Maybe we'll find out something about our pasts too," inquired Devvon.  
	"Are you sure you want to learn about your past instead of flirt with her?"
Nate continued on, "Huh Dev o buddy o pal?"

	"I don't know about you guys, but I think Dev is right, this is too good of 
a chance to past up, especially with these strong vibes I have coming from her," 
added Jed.  

	"Okay, the it's decided," replied Devvon who was still glaring at Nate 
for his comment.

	"Hey Sere," Jed said instinctively, "would you like to come over
tomorrow and for a barbecue?"  Serena looked over each one cautiously as her
gaze finally rested on Devvon.  They all looked too sincere to be a part of
the Negaverse, but then what were these strong feelings she was getting from
all of them?  Looking expectantly at her, Serena realized she had to come up
with an answer, but she was unsure.  "What would Haruka and Setsuna say if
she accepted an invitation from a stranger?  But these men were far from
strangers to her and that were the problem.  This was the perfect opportunity
for her to check out who they were and why she felt so strongly towards them.

	 "Okay...,"she replied with a smile, "but I may have to bring my friends 
with me, its that okay?"  

	"Oh, that's fine," Devvon said with relief.  

	"Yea, the more the merrier," added Jed.  

	"God Jed, you are so corny," laughed Nate.

	"Shut up just because you aren't blessed with good looks like mine doesn't
mean you have to put me down..."

	Serena smiled as she listened to the two bicker and glanced down at
her watch.  "OH NO!!" she though.  "It's almost 9, Darien must be going
ballistic by now." she said to herself worriedly.  

	"Hey, it was a pleasure meeting you guys, but I really have to get going 
now, my friend must be out of his mind worrying about me.  Here's my number to my 
cell, just call me when you guys are ready to barbecue and I'll be there," she said
hurriedly.  

	"Okay, but are you sure you want to walk home by yourself, we could give you 
a ride?" asked Mac worriedly.  He had this unnerving feeling that he couldn't let 
anything happen to this girl.  

	"Um, sure that would be great," Serena said, trying to avoid what happened 
last time in the park.
	
	All six of them piled into Nate's convertible and zoomed down the
street without realizing they were being watched.  The person hidden in the
shadow stepped out and glared angrily as Serena left with the five men.  And
not just any five men, but her protectors too.  

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

	"Damn, if they realize who they are, I will never get my hands on Serenity. 
 Calm down, I will get Serenity, no matter how much it will cost."

	"Thanks you guys," Serena said cheerfully, as she hopped out of the
car.  

	"Woo, now I have leg room," Jed said with a laugh.  "Oh you, shut up
Jed," Serena said trying to sound intimidating, but the twinkle in her eyes
gave her away.  Nobody could mistake the brotherly way Jed treated Serena and
vice versa.  

	"Bye, sweet dreams everyone." Serena said. "Except you Jed."

	"Awww, I'm totally crushed Serena," Jed replied feigning hurt.  "Bye Serena,
take care," everyone chorused.

	Nate waited until Serena had gone inside the apartment building and
had closed the door behind her.  He was overcome with this strange feeling
that he had to protect her.  

	"What are you waiting for Nate, let's go home," whined Jed.  

	"Chill Jed, I just wanna make sure she gets in safely."  

	"I dunno, but I have this really weird feeling we're suppose to protect 
her."

	"Yea, I know, but protect her from what?" replied Mac.  "Do you have any 
ideas Zack?"  

	"Naw, but I can check up stuff when we get home." 

	"Okay, so lets get going," shouted Jed. 

	Thunk!  

	"SHUT UP JED!!" shouted everyone.

"Okay.. okay... just don't hit me again."

	Serena crept quietly to her apartment door, she didn't want to wake
up the neighbors like she did last time by tripping on the carpet and
screaming like a banshee.

	Just as she unlocked the door and began to twist it, it flew open and she
fell forward.  Bracing herself for yet another fall, she felt herself fall
into strong warm arms.  As she looked up, she found herself drowning in
Darien's deep blue eyes.  But they were glazed over and bloodshot from all
the stress and worrying that she had caused.

	"Ohh Darien, I'm so sorry," she sad softly as he brought her in and
sat her down on the couch.  He looked deeply into her light blue eyes and saw
the tears begin to form as she sincerely apologized to him over and over
again.  

	"No Serena," he said stiffly.  "No?" she thought, "oh no, I blew it
with him this time." She turned away and felt the tears rapidly descend down
her face.  She felt his warm hands grasped her chin and pulled her back.  She
gasped as she saw tears running down his face.  Feeling his pain, Serena
threw herself into his arms and held him as if there were no tomorrow.

	Reluctantly, she pulled herself away and wiped away his tears.  "Why
are you crying Dar?" she asked softly.  He looked down shamefully until
Serena tilted his chin so she could observe the sadness and pain in his deep
blue eyes.  

"I.. um," he stammered, "I'm so sorry Sere, I didn't mean to yell
at you yesterday.  I was just so worried about you.  I don't know what would
ever happen if I lost you," he answered.  

	"Oh Darien, I'm sorry too, I didn't mean to snap at you, I know you're just 
looking out for me like you've always had.  I just want you to know how grateful I 
am to have you in my life."

	After hearing those words, Darien pulled Serena into his arms to hide
the emotions that he could barely contain inside.  After what seemed an
eternity, he pulled her back to stare into her beautiful, light blue eyes.
Feeling a sudden urge to taste her lips, he pulled her forward again.

	Serena felt herself being drawn back and looking into Darien's
mysterious blue eyes.  She always wondered what secrets were behind them for
her to unlock.  All of a sudden, she felt Darien pulling her back in and not
just for any hug.  She gasped lightly as she realized he was about to kiss
her.  All her fantasies of her being in his arms and kissing him were finally
going to come true.  Just as their lips met the door flew open and in burst
Raye, Amy, Mina, and Lita.

Wow... Chi Chi had done a FANTASTIC job... I have been busy and wasn't able to do 
anything and so she went on and wrote the WHOLE chapter... wow, I LOVE writing in 
with Chi Chi... ^^  Hmm... also, if you are waiting for Love and Jealousy, the next part, 
I should tell you that I'm trying to write it now, without Jade because she seems to be 
too busy.  Yeah, so I will try to get it out to you as soon as possible.  Also, I need some
suggestions for How Much Pain Can One Heart Take because I am totally stumped on 
that story.  

Usa-chan
